Our Services

We are open from 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday. Tuesday to Thursday, Tahnee sees clients via Telehealth (either phone or video) and on Mondays and Fridays she works in clinic and offers face to face appointments.

Fees 

Within Psychology and Wellbeing is a private practice. Our fee for a 50 to 60minute session is set at $255. You may be eligible for a Rebate through Medicare to help offset the costs of your treatment.

Longer appointments are required for Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing sessions. Our fee for a 90minute session is $320.

Payments

Payment is required on the day of service for in-session appointments and invoices for Telehealth sessions must be paid within 48 hours. Please note, that an admin fee may apply for late payments. No further appointments will be booked if invoices are outstanding.

 

Medicare Rebates

With a valid Mental Health Care Plan, you will receive a rebate of $141.85 per session, leaving a gap of $113.15 (for an EMDR session the gap is $178.15). You can have up to ten Medicare funded sessions per calendar year.

Medicare requires that the fee is paid in full before the Rebate can be processed. Rebates will be paid automatically into the bank account that is linked to your Medicare card.


Private Health Insurance

You may be eligible for a Rebate from your Private Health Insurance if you are covered for psychological services. Each fund is different so please check with your individual provider.

 

Cancellation Policy

Please note that Within Psychology and Wellbeing has a strict cancellation policy. When you schedule an appointment, that time is held for you. There is a high demand for services, and if you cancel late or don’t arrive for a session, this prevents others from accessing psychological support.

We understand that emergency situations do arise, and on these occasions we can be flexible. Please communicate clearly with us as early as possible if circumstances outside of your control prevent you from attending your appointment.

Please give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment. If you cancel within this time frame or don’t arrive for your session, you will be charged 100% of the scheduled fee.

 

Appointment Reminders 

To help you avoid cancellation fees you will be sent a confirmation email at the time of your booking. This will be followed by a reminder notification via email and SMS two business days prior to your appointment.
